I had the pleasure of creating some portraits of a really wonderful young couple who are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child in June. John and Kristina are not only an attractive duo, but are also just a cool, down to earth couple. It was a really fun session in which I also was able to enjoy the company of their cat and dog, Titus and Olive, who seemed intrigued by the pop of the strobes. Poor Titus the cat was feeling a bit under the weather due to the fun activity of chasing lizards and eating grass...
For the session, both John and Kristina had a pretty good idea of what they were wanting but its always nice to suggest ideas and have the subjects be receptive to them. The ideas do not always work, yet I feel its much better to try and fail, then to have regrets later. I came away extremely pleased with the session and was also happy and honored to be a part of this important phase of their lives. I'm really happy and excited for them.

We are the paternal grandparents of this eagerly anticipated little one, and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of these photos! You have done an extraordinary job of capturing not only the love and devotion John and Kris have toward one another, but also their joy at the impending birth of their little boy. We can hardly wait to see all the photos! Good work!
